Can we manage without plastic?

Let’s not beat around the bush: plastic/stretch film is
unlikely to be replaced by another similar material.
Stretch film is strong, easy and practical to use, cheap,
offers effective load stability when used properly and
protects secondary packaging against the effects of
weather/UV. Plastic is thus here to stay.
Literally and figuratively.

Reducing impact of plastic
If – besides clearing – we want to do something about raw
material use and environmental pollution associated with
plastic, we mainly have three options:

1. Bring less plastic into production
2. Produce plastic that is biodegradable and/or bio-based
3. Collect and recycle plastic

Let’s take responsibility for the environment and use
