From acceptance to design: what do consumers expect from smart POS displays in retail?

What should a smart and interactive POS display look like to convince consumers? Artevelde University of Applied Sciences conducted a survey among Flemish consumers regarding the acceptance of smart and interactive POS displays in physical stores. Additionally, the study investigated which functionalities, forms of interaction, and applications consumers find most valuable. During this session, the key research results will be presented, and we will translate these insights into concrete recommendations for the design of future smart POS displays.
