Safteybags

Safetybags are packaging made from strong transparent polyethylene and are guaranteed to keep liquids inside or outside. The bag is hermetically sealed by simply removing the cover strip.
In combination with the Transport Blister, the PolyMed shipping envelope, and sufficient absorbent material, this combination complies with packaging regulations (P650) in the Netherlands. These requirements are in place to guarantee the safety of transporting potentially infectious sample material. This is achieved by imposing requirements such as making the secondary packaging leak-proof for liquids or dust-proof for solids. In addition, when multiple fragile objects are placed in a single package, they must be individually wrapped or separated to prevent contact between them. Furthermore, the packaging as a whole must be approved, including the outer packaging, leak-proof secondary packaging, and absorbent material. In the Netherlands, transport blisters are mainly used as the rigid component.
