About us
Scott is a specialist in automatic palletising systems for all kinds and sizes of products. Installations can involve multi-line or single-line layer palletisers and combinations of these. Utilizing either conventional or robot units, flexibility can be achieved even at high capacities. We have a lot of experience with implementing projects under the most demanding conditions, such as deep-freeze up to -30°C, demanding products and/or packs and projects in full production and/or under great time pressure.

New Generation Layer Palletiser PAL 4.0
Pal 4.0 is the latest addition to Scott´s range of palletisers. It was developed in conjunction with our key partners and is equipped with the latest technology and components. The innovative features of PAL 4.0 provide a low total cost of ownership, thereby increasing your ROI: · Compact footprint and high level infeed maximise valuable production spaceSuitable for a wide range of products including plastic trays, shrink wrapped packs, cartons, shelf ready, display boxes etc. · High capacity throughput is capable of single or multi-line operation (grows with your business) · Patented row and pusher bar provide gentle handling to delicate products · User-friendly interface for creating new pallet layouts, simplifies setup and reduces changeover times · Flexible layer pattern build with gap maintenance ensures efficient pallet utilisation · Express elevator reduces cycle times · Open design provides industry leading visual and physical access for operators and reduced maintenance times · Developed with SEW-Eurodrive for optimised energy efficiency · Connectivity with SCADA, ERP, MES, MRP, SAP systems etc. allow for increased traceability · Remote connectivity and diagnostics reduce service and downtime · Add on modules such as slip sheet and interlayer feeds further extend the capabilities to allow for changing production needs

Compact Robot Palletiser
The Scott Compact Robot Palletiser system provides the flexibility to palletise a range of products efficiently and accurately while reducing labour and manual handling. The compact design enables the system to be integrated into your existing production space, allowing installation and commissioning with minimum disruption. The flexibility of the design allows either a single or double cell to be installed and customisability ensures that a variety of products can be palletised using standard pallets. The Compact Robot Palletiser ensures the repeatability of the pallet pattern and reduces manual handling injuries associated with the repetitive motion of palletising with a production line operator.

Pallet conveyors
Scott´s modular system of roller and chain conveyors is used for the horizontal transport of both empty and full pallets with loads up to 1,500 kg, together with additional units for changing direction and longer distance conveying. It is available with a range of accessories to suit your systems requirements: - Roller conveyors - Chain conveyors - Turntables - Transfer units - Shuttle cars - Pallet stackers/de-stackers/dispensers

Centralised Palletising Systems
Our centralised end-of-line palletising solutions meet the flow optimisation needs of several production lines. In 90% of cases, they are coupled with a shared automatic empty pallet distribution system, as well as a pallet wrapping and labelling unit, often including the transfer of full pallets to the warehouse or shipping area. The arrival of the products is at high level in order to free the access flows between the production lines. The analysis of the project data allows us to choose between these two palletising technologies: - The multi axis robot, coupled with a gripping tool (suction, clamping or fork). - The layer palletiser with high level infeed, without product gripping, enables more controlled palletising to ensure precise alignment of the boxes from one layer to the next.

Multi-line Palletising Systems
Link several production lines to one or more palletisers - as soon as enough product is ready to fill a complete pallet, the system calls up the product, transports it to the palletisers, and takes care of the palletisation. The palletising machines are usually not placed in the production hall itself, ensuring the highest standards for product quality, hygiene and safety. Our multi-line palletising solutions are based on the centralisation and optimisation of palletising equipment. They can be installed on a limited surface area, using the available height of the building (often under utilised) to install the product accumulation tables or conveyors. They are coupled with a shared automatic empty pallet distribution system, as well as a wrapping and labelling unit, including the transfer of full pallets to the logistics area. The product infeed is at high level to free up the access flow between the production lines.

End-of-line Palletising Systems
These systems are designed for manufacturing sites with high production volumes where a dedicated palletiser for each line is the optimal solution. Often the product requires careful and supported handling, being fragile and/or heavy. Typical applications are beverage and food producers, where transit cases must be aligned accurately to maximise stacking strength. Modern shelf ready packaging must be handled delicately to maintain its integrity. Scott designs machines with a capacity ranging from 20 to 150 packs/minute and more. Depending on the production rate and the type of products, our solutions are based on these 2 types of technology: - The Multi-axis robot. 4 or 6-axis coupled with a gripping tool (suction, clamping or fork). The arrival of the products can be either low or high level depending on the location. - The layer palletiser with high level infeed, without the need to grip the product, enables more controlled palletising to ensure precise alignment of the boxes from one layer to the next. The latest generation of robotic servo driven layer palletisers such as our 4.0 model, are quiet, energy efficient, require little maintenance, have very high reliability and offer fast recovery times.
