Cost-effective and lightweight modular system for delta robots
Fast pick & place handling … ready to install Pick & Place ... ready-to-install For simple and automated pick-&-place and assembly tasks, igus® has developed the modular delta robot kit. Now new with calibrating pin for easy positioning at the zero point. It is directly fixed to the mounting hub and simplifies the initial calibration process. The cable clip for the delta robot was developed for the secure guidance of cables, e.g. individual pneumatic hoses, along the coupling joint. Easy to fit, lightweight.
Smart Plastics - isense
The isense family of igus® products consists of various intellgent sensors and monitoring modules. They measure wear during the operation and alarm the user early enough to plan a repair or an exchange. The igus® Communication Module (icom) makes the seamless integration into your IT infrastructure possible. This allows scenarios like the continuous monitoring or automatic triggering of in-house maintenance jobs. An optional connection with the igus® data center widens the options: individual lifetime calculation and faster operational processes like automatic ordering of external maintenance crews or ordering of spare parts. Thanks to smart plastics your equipment runs continuously and your maintenance costs go down. Improved safety is an additional benefit. FDA-compliant toothed belt axis
New in the building blocks of toothed belt axes is the drylin® ZLW-20-HYD. All metallic components are made of highly resistant stainless steel, the design is based on the hygienic design guidelines. They enable easy, fast cleaning processes and meet the requirements for clean and hygienic operation. Toothed belts and all bearing points are made of FDA-compliant materials and guarantee a long service life. Due to the self-lubrication of the igus® polymers, the ZLW-20-HYD is completely lubrication-free and maintenance-free. This toothed belt axis is used in underwater applications, in the food sector, in cosmetics and in medical technology.
drylin W - hygienic design
Clean, safe and without lubrication: igus presents the linear guide in hygienic design Cleaning with chemicals is daily business for machines in the food processing industry. Even the smallest blind spot can collect moisture and lead to contamination in the machine. igus has developed the first linear guide system based on Hygienic Design guidelines. More and more customers want an optimised design based on hygienic design principles. They want components to have an open design that can withstand regular cleaning processes with chemicals, steam and high-pressure water. Companies now demand lubricant-free components that can be cleaned quickly to reduce downtimes. Therefore, igus has now developed a drylin W linear guide according to hygienic design guidelines. The focus was on designing a self-draining carriage and rail that allowed liquids to drain freely without collecting water. Until now, most hygienic design solutions were based on a fully enclosed unit. This new self-draining carriage consists entirely of FDA- and EU10/2011-compliant polymer iglidur A160. Hygienic screws and large grooves are also used to prevent water from accumulating and beveled edges ensure that cleaning agents drain easily, and the bottom seal protects the space under the rail from dirt accumulation. The axles are also sealed to prevent gaps in which dirt can accumulate. A corrosion-free, high-alloy 316 stainless steel is used as the linear rail.
ReBel - lightweight robot with cobot function
It's a ReBeLution - because the ReBeL® is the first robot made of high-performance plastic. At just 8kg, it is the lightest in its class: a real lightweight robot. The compact, space-saving design with an integrated control system in the base opens up completely new fields of application for service robotics. In collaboration with people, the ReBeL® takes on tasks in the event and gastronomy sector, for example as a reliable coffee enricher or as a machine loader in production. The ReBeL® offers freedom of choice: the robot is available as a plug-and-play version with integrated control system and robot software or as an open source version. In addition, users can choose between four or six degrees of freedom and thus adapt the ReBeL® to their individual application scenario.

Thanks to online service life calculators for ready-to-connect cables, the expected service life for the selected application can be quickly calculated. igus is also the only manufacturer to offer a warranty of 36 months or over 10 million strokes on cables.
dryspin lead screw technology
The dryspin® product range includes an assortment of lead screws, lead screw nuts and their accessories in many dimensions and designs. Six different types of lead screw nut made of six different materials with individual specifications are available. Suitable lead screws are available in high helix, trapezoidal and metric threads and in stainless steel, steel and aluminium. Lead screws made of stainless steel and lead screw nuts made of iglidur® high-performance polymers make our drylin® lead screw technology absolutely lubrication-free and maintenance-free. The quiet dry operation and dirt resistance offer a variety of possible applications under a wide range of conditions.
Low Cost Automation
The goal of low-cost automation is a significant increase in productivity with the help of simple and affordable automation in the form of robotic components. At igus®, everything users need for low-cost process automation is available from a single source: entire robot arms, individual components for individual solutions or for expanding existing applications, and a control system matched to robolink® with intuitive software. The extensive igus product range also includes the smart ReBeL – a robot with cobot capabilities for particularly low-cost service robotics – as well as the online marketplace RBTX and a free remote integration service with a fixed price guarantee.
Gears
The gear wheels made of iglidur® high-performance polymers enable a lubrication-free and maintenance-free application. Due to their special material composition of base polymers, fibers and fillers as well as solid lubricants, they have a very high wear resistance. The iglidur® materials are put through their paces in our own test laboratory. As with all igus products, the service life can be calculated in advance, taking into account the individual application parameters.
iglidur polymer bar stock
iglidur® polymer bar stock products are tribologically optimized materials for maintenance- and lubrication-free application with high service life expectations. Plates, round rods and hollow bars made of a variety of different iglidur® materials are available from stock. Each material becomes a specialist for certain applications through its properties, such as particularly low coefficients of friction or high temperature resistance. With the online expert system for bar stock products, the service life for plain bearing applications can be calculated. iglidur® polymer bar stock products are successfully used, for example, in mechanical engineering, the food and packaging industry, and in laboratories and clean rooms of medical technology.
e-chain systems
e-chains® made of plastic have been developed, produced and tested by igus® since 1971. Thanks to intensive research and extensive testing under real conditions in the industry's largest test laboratory, igus guarantees a 36-month service life for e-chains®. Our constantly growing know-how flows into the further development of our products in cooperation with our customers. igus® e-chains® and systems® are universally usable in various applications: For very high dynamic stress, the most diverse types of movements and in the most diverse environments. igus offers a large product selection and the right solution for every application – from system offers to assembly and "turnkey" installation.
iglidur polymer plain bearings
Lowering costs and raising service life with no lubrication and a reduction in maintenance work, everything delivered immediately from stock - that is the core idea and the objective of all iglidur® polymer plain bearings. The igus® plain bearings range includes sleeve bearings, flange bearings, thrust washers, piston rings, clip-on plain bearings and many other designs. iglidur® plain bearings always offer a solution – either from the catalogue range or as custom-made plain bearing special solution. iglidur® bearings are suitable for all moving applications – from automotive mass production and special mechanical engineering, from underwater applications to the food or tobacco industry, for resistance to extreme temperatures and chemicals and for simple sheet-metal bushings.
