CS·TS – Cargo Securing & Testing Services
CS·TS is the specialist in cargo securing and transport packaging. With our unique mobile logistics lab – the only one of its kind in the Benelux – we test and certify your load units on site, at your own production, packaging or logistics facility, anywhere in Europe. No unnecessary pre- and post-transport, no time lost, and in case of a negative result, the load unit can be adjusted and optimised immediately.
Our tests are performed according to the EUMOS 40509 standard, the European benchmark for transport stability, in compliance with Directive 2014/47/EU and national road legislation. You receive a detailed test report with measurements and recommendations, plus an official certificate accepted by insurers, clients and inspection authorities.
We also advise on packaging optimisation: less stretch film, lower costs, greater sustainability and improved road safety.

Opleiding en begeleiding EUMOS 40509
The EUMOS 40509 standard is mandatory, but in practice few teams know what it actually means for their own pallets. CS-TS provides hands-on training for staff in production, packaging, logistics and quality, as well as for enforcement services: how a load unit fails, which forces act on the load during transport, what an inspector looks for, and how to spot risks yourself before the truck leaves.
CMR-surveys en schade-expertise
When a shipment arrives damaged, the argument starts: was it the packaging, the loading or the transport? CS-TS carries out CMR surveys and cargo damage investigations and delivers a substantiated report you can use with your insurer, your customer or your carrier. Our managing director is also a court-recognised expert. Active since 1998, throughout Europe.

Too little film gives you unstable pallets; too much film costs money and adds weight. Using measured test results, we set your stretch wrapper or strapping machine correctly: number of wraps, pre-stretch, film force, and the position and tension of the straps. The result is a load unit that is demonstrably stable and uses less film per pallet - increasingly relevant now that the PPWR packaging regulation pushes for packaging reduction.
Load securing and packaging consultancy
An unstable pallet is rarely fixed by adding more film. CS-TS analyses your entire packaging process - pallet quality, stacking pattern, interlayers, wrapping programme, strapping and edge protection - and uses measured test results to determine which change actually makes the difference. That way you meet the EUMOS 40509 standard without over-packaging. Advice based on your own product and your own process, not on a generic guideline.
