Who is the Packaging Woman of Belgium?
More than just a title
‘Belgium’s Packaging Woman’ is an initiative by Empack and NVC Packaging Centre. The annual award puts female professionals in the packaging sector in the spotlight and promotes a strong, diverse and forward-looking sector.
Inspired by the SAGE movement (Sustainably AGEing Society), Packaging Woman contributes to:

- more female leadership in the packaging sector;
- better decision-making through diversity;
- attracting new talent;
- a sustainable future for the sector.
Are you the Packaging Woman of Belgium?
You are eligible if you:
✅ you hold Belgian nationality and/or work for an organisation based in Belgium
✅ have been working in a packaging role for at least one year
✅ wants to make a positive impact within the sector
✅ are willing to share your knowledge and experience

How does the selection process work?
Step 1
Put yourself forward or nominate a colleague.
Step 2
Applications are assessed by a panel of experienced female professionals.
Step 3
The shortlisted candidates will be invited to the final.
Step 4
The official appointment will take place during Empack Mechelen.
