From sustainable intention to circular reality: why it still too often goes wrong.

Much packaging is designed with the intention of being recyclable, but in practice it often ends up in incinerators or is exported outside Europe. What seems sustainable in theory does not achieve the circular potential we have in mind in practice. Overly complex packaging, collection methods, limited sorting options and economic barriers often cause good intentions to fail.
This session will clarify where things go wrong and why this is important. Using concrete examples from practice, solutions will be presented to convert sustainable intentions into real circular impact.
