Service technician for the East and West Flanders region
Who and what are we looking for?
As a service technician at Getra, you will be on the road every day visiting our customers in East and West Flanders: Friesland Campina, Ontex, McBride, Greenyard, Alpro, etc.
What does this vacancy for Service Engineer East and West Flanders entail?
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing our machines.
Given the extensive nature of our product range, you will be involved in various fields: electronics, mechanics, electricity, software, programming, PLC, controls, etc.
You will create digital service tickets that are sent to our planning module in real time. This means you will have no administrative work afterwards and your parts stock will be replenished quickly. The customer communicates with our planning module via our GIA app.
Does this job description for Service Engineer East and West Flanders appeal to you? Then we are looking for you!
What we expect from you
You have a degree in a technical field, preferably a bachelor's degree.
We provide thorough product training at the start, so school leavers are more than welcome.
You are fascinated by technology and enjoy solving technical problems.
Customer-friendliness, responsibility and orderliness are qualities that characterise you.
Commitment and teamwork are also decisive for the success of our Technical Service.
You have a perfect command of the Dutch language.
This is a plus but not a requirement.
You may occasionally visit our French-speaking customers, so knowledge of French is definitely an advantage.
You preferably live in your work region, mainly East Flanders, and to a lesser extent West Flanders. Or you live in the province of Antwerp or Flemish Brabant and have a “fast connection” to your work region.
What we offer you
At Getra, you will be part of a close-knit team where collegiality is key. As a service engineer, you are the face of our company. Together, we provide added value to our customers. Grow with us and make a difference!
We also offer the necessary flexibility with regard to working hours. On the one hand, we ask our employees to be flexible when completing interventions on site at the customer's premises. On the other hand, we have a performance registration system that allows extra hours to be recovered or compensated in consultation.
Getra offers extensive training opportunities for both new and more experienced Service Engineers: your knowledge will evolve thanks to new developments in machinery and product marking.
Receive an attractive salary package with fringe benefits (such as a company car for private use) and a flexible cafeteria plan to personalise your end-of-year bonus.
