What happens when creative talent and the packaging industry come together? At Empack, we bring together students from Artevelde University College, LUCA School of Arts and AP University College for the Empack Packathon. It promises to be a creative day full of innovation, teamwork and hands-on design.
Real cases, real solutions
On the exhibition floor, students are presented with real packaging cases from industry partners. Working in groups, they design solutions and build tangible prototypes, while receiving immediate feedback from exhibitors. The result? Original ideas that are tested in a professional context.
Guidance, expertise and recognition
The day starts with a briefing on the cases, followed by guidance from exhibitors. Ultimately, a jury of experts will select the most innovative concept, which will be awarded during the networking event on Wednesday 22 September. In this way, students combine their creativity and professional knowledge to create practical and surprising packaging solutions.
