About us
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems will be exhibiting with machine guarding door solutions for automated production and warehouse environments. You can find us in Hall 1, Booth 1218, on Tuesday, September 22, and Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Flanders Expo in Ghent.
In increasingly automated packaging and logistics environments, doors play a crucial role. They must securely separate zones without slowing down traffic or hindering integration. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems develops doors specifically designed for robot cells, packaging lines, palletizing stations, and automated warehouses.
At the booth, we will be showcasing the RP100 SimplySafe, our latest machine door. This compact door is designed for safe enclosure in confined spaces and integrates easily into existing and new installations. Thanks to certified safety at the highest level and high opening speed, the RP100 is suitable for intensive use in packaging lines and robotic applications.
We will also be showcasing the RP400, a proven high-speed door for intralogistics and warehouse automation. This door combines speed, reliability, and low maintenance costs and has been used for years in environments with high cycle frequencies.
For outdoor use, we are presenting the new RT1000 spiral door. This door combines the speed of a high-speed door with the robustness and insulation value of a sectional door. The RT1000 is burglar-resistant, energy-efficient, and compactly designed, making it ideal for SMEs looking to upgrade their outdoor access.
The ASSA ABLOY Insight platform will also take center stage at the booth. Insight offers real-time monitoring, maintenance planning, and digital control of industrial doors via a single, user-friendly platform. Most ASSA ABLOY doors can be connected, subject to the production year.
Finally, the OH1142 Dual Drive will also be on display, sold under the Crawford by ASSA ABLOY brand. This innovative sectional door operates without springs or steel cables, resulting in less maintenance, fewer downtimes, and significantly shorter installation times.

Online platform for IoT: ASSA ABLOY Insight
Insight Control – always connected, always in control The Insight platform from ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems consists of four modules that work together to deliver digital efficiency. First is the Insight Control module, which ensures control over every access point through real-time data, historical insights, and remote operation. Thanks to smart digital tools, authorized users gain full control over all doors—which also enhances security—allowing them to easily make data-driven decisions and further optimize building management. Insight Planner – smart maintenance starts here While Insight Control focuses on real-time monitoring and control of access points, Insight Planner goes a step further: this module helps to plan maintenance smartly and digitally, predict costs, and streamline the entire management process. Intuitive planning tools provide full control over maintenance, detailed information on every door status, and a clear overview of lifecycle costs. Moreover, everything is centralized, well-organized, and easily accessible. Insight Mobile – app as a remote control With the Insight Mobile module, authorized users can open sectional doors directly from their smartphone. Physical remote controls or keys are no longer needed; a single click in the app is all it takes for fast and secure door access. Whether it’s parking gates or sectional doors in high-traffic or unmanned industrial buildings, anyone who needs access can enter quickly and safely. Insight Docking Management System – Streamline Logistics The latest ASSA ABLOY DMS module—the Docking Management System—with docking commands streamlines logistics, enhances security, and provides a complete operational overview from arrival at the dock to departure. This strengthens efficiency, safety, and planning at every step of the loading and unloading process.
Spiral door ASSA ABLOY RT1000 for outdoor use
Advanced technology meets operational excellence—that’s the ASSA ABLOY RapidTech1000 spiral door in a nutshell. This new model is designed to meet the demands of challenging environments and combines speed, insulation, and durability with safety and security. For example, this burglar-resistant industrial door features RC2 resistance class. And thanks to its space-saving design, a compact installation is perfectly feasible. In short, the RT1000 spiral door meets today’s needs and anticipates tomorrow’s demands. This fully electric, digitally controlled door, featuring innovative motor technology, was specifically designed to meet the growing demand for greater efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Machine guarding door ASSA ABLOY RP100 SimplySafe
ASSA ABLOY RP100 SimplySafe, the latest machine guarding door A machine guarding door built for simplicity and reliability The RP100 SimplySafe is the latest addition to our range of machine guards. Designed for safe and reliable protection in the most common automation environments. The name says it all: simplicity and safety in one product. No unnecessary options, just a clear, well-thought-out product that does what it’s supposed to do. Compact design for tight spaces: The side columns of the RP100 are only 60 x 60 mm wide. This allows the gate to fit in places where other machine gates fall short: next to a conveyor belt, between two palletizing lines, or in a high-bay warehouse. The gate integrates seamlessly into the system without requiring additional structural work. The total gate length is up to 3,000 mm. Safety without compromise: The RP100 comes standard with a light curtain in the side column that protects the entire door opening up to 2,500 mm. The safety limit switch ensures that the door is fully closed before the machine starts up. No debate, no gray area. The safety features are certified to the highest level: PLe Category 4 in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL 3 in accordance with EN 62061. The door also complies with EN ISO 14120:2015 and EN 619:2022. Custom curtain: The curtain is standardly manufactured from double-layer polyester fabric with a PVC coating, weighing 1,700 g/m² and 1.3 mm thick. Available in blue, orange, light gray, and red. Transparent PVC windows are available. The RP100 SimplySafe is the right choice for machine builders and integrators who build packaging systems, for companies automating their warehouses, and for packaging companies that want to secure their production line without sacrificing speed.
